The GWP Global Leadership Fellowship is a competitive, fully funded program for emerging women leaders interested in international policy, diplomacy, and global business.
Through a 100-day voyage to 10 countries with Semester at Sea, fellows gain real-world global experience, making it a career-focused leadership accelerator rather than a traditional study abroad program.

Each experience is intentionally designed to expand perspective, build confidence, and prepare fellows to lead on a global stage.

What Fellows Experience: 

  • Travel to 10 countries across multiple continents.  

  • Engage with global leaders, institutions, and local communities.  

  • Analyze real-world issues in diplomacy, economics, and development.  

  • Build cross-cultural leadership and communication skills.  

  • Participate in structured reflection and career-focused learning.

What the Fellowship Includes:  

  • $50,000

  • Full participation in Semester at Sea (tuition, room, and board).  

  • International travel across 10 countries.  

  • Pre-departure leadership and career preparation through Girls with Passports.  

  • Ongoing mentorship from global professionals.  

  • Post-program career placement support and alumni network access.
